In this post, the Liposuction Fort Worth Guide would like to cite the history of liposuction.

One of the most requested and popular cosmetic surgery procedures offered in the United States is Liposuction. Liposuction today is defined as the removal of fat from deposits under the skin using a hollow stainless steel tube (called a cannula) with the assistance of a powerful vacuum. Liposuction can be accomplished either with the use of general anesthesia, or with heavy IV sedation, or totally by local anesthesia. There are both benefits and potential dangers of local anesthesia and of systemic anesthesia. Liposuction first reared its head in the early 1980’s. Today, there are many techniques and strategies that have been developed to make liposuction a safer and more effective procedure for patients. When in invented in 1974 by Dr. Giorgio Fischer only one type was available. Fat deposits were removed with a a scalpel excision, which resulted in an uneven look and very heavy bleeding. Traditional liposuction was made popular throughout Europe first and then its fame spread throughout the United states. It didn’t have immediate popularity or success in the United States due to complications and deaths associated with the procedure. It was then discovered that the usage of cannulas and suctions allowed for a less aggressive and more effective way of removing fat. Despite these advances uneven results and excessive bleeding did still occur. The tumescent liposuction technique was developed in the mid-1980’s by two United States dermatologists. The technique was a much safer alternative with better results. Tumescent liposuction refers to a technique that uses large volumes of very dilute local anesthesia that is injected into the fat causing the targeted areas to be come swollen and firm. Local anesthesia is widely regarded as the safest form of anesthesia. Because local anesthesia persists for many hours there is no need for narcotic pain medications after surgery. Local anesthesia allows for one to block off just the location of the surgical procedure for pain, meaning that the entire body is not effected merely the part being operated on. By the late 1990’s ultrasonic liposuction was available and surgeons hoped to be able to increase the removal of fat. The results weren’t exactly what individuals expected or hoped for. In early 2000, power assisted liposuction became available. Tumescent liposuction is the most popular technique used today but other techniques have their advantages also. To learn more about liposuction options one should consult with an experienced surgeon or physician.

Liposuction: Not a “cheap” alternative.

Welcome back to the Liposuction Fort Worth Guide. We try to frequently discuss issues of interest to folks looking to undergo weight loss surgery in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Today we will talk about the notion that liposuction is a “cheap” procedure.

I have come across many people who believe that liposuction is cheap. They are absolutely right because liposuction is relatively much cheaper than cosmetic surgery or any other method . But this must not be confused with the term like “cheap liposuction” which sounds derogatory. While liposuction might cost considerably less than cosmetic surgery , it is the most effective and should never ever be termed as “cheap”.

Women from the time immemorial have tried to defy the effects of age and have been looking for the best suited methods always. It is believed that there was some magic potions in ancient times which helped them retain their glow and look young and charming. The modern man ,however, has no such luxury and he has to rely upon the modern medicine. Cosmetic surgery has emerged out be a very favorite procedure for both men and women today. But the relatively higher cost of that kind of cosmetic surgeries is certainly out of bounds for an average person.

The cost runs into tens of thousands and varies from surgeon to surgeon and the surgical procedure involved. But in spite of the prohibitive cost it is growing in popularity day by day and have become most popular voluntary surgery in the world. Liposuction is nothing but a form of cosmetic surgery. It is different from other surgeries mainly on two counts.Liposuction has lesser risks involved and it costs considerably less.Liposuction is less risky because the surgery is at its minimum invasion level. The recovery period too is much less and has fewer complications than that of the cosmetic surgery. These are the main reasons that people prefer liposuction over all types of cosmetic surgery .Male liposuction are mostly performed to reduce fat from the back and abdomen whereas women go for face, thigh, neck and abdomen . I do agree that liposuction is cheaper and cost-effective but not cheap. So, I correct people when they describe this like “cheap liposuction”. There are many types of liposuction based on the areas where these are performed.

You can have indeed a ‘cheap liposuction’ if you visit some quack or an inexperienced doctor stationed at some non decrepit far flung place. The Liposuction Fort Worth Guide suggests that you never ever visit these shady doctors because you might end up developing complications that can arise from such a surgery and you will end up loosing more than you gained. I don’t say that liposuction is cheap because at an average it might cost you around $5000. But It is certainly safe.

Thanks for joining the Liposuction Fort Worth guide in our discussion of liposuction being a “cheap” procedure. We hope we have done our little part to enlighten you!

Liposuction with Laser Technology

Welcome back to Liposuction Fort Worth, where we discuss issues relevant to liposuction in the Dallas/Fort Worth erea.Today we’d like to talk about liposuction with laser technology.

Standard liposuction may be a thing of the past. Straight from Europe you can now get laser liposuction that will be much more comfortable and look better faster than any regular old liposuction procedure.

Liposuction has always involved painfully sucking out fat deposits in the body by using suction applied directly to the fat through cuts in ones legs, buttocks, abdomen, and so forth. However, laser liposuction zaps fat cells with a laser beam, causing the fat to break down so that it can be easily removed through tiny cuts in the skin- unlike the larger cuts needed for traditional liposuction. Clearly, anyone would want a little cut rather than a large cut so that they could experience as little pain and as short a healing time as possible. The laser is then used on a different setting to reduce any discomfort and unsightliness that would occur from such a procedure. Laser liposuction participants come back to repeat this treatment soon after their original procedure to further control these issues. As far as we at the Liposuction Fort Worth Guide can tell, usually women target their lower body and men frequently target their upper body for liposuction procedures. Some people treat their underarms with laser liposuction to reduce perspiration. It allows a person to control underarm wetness without causing overheating issues. You would find that laser liposuction is most advantageous over traditional liposuction treatments because you will be up and about in no time with a laser liposuction treatment. A standard liposuction procedure will require a relatively long healing period. Standard liposuction also will typically cause more discomfort and unsightliness than laser liposuction as well which causes most people to need pills to ease their hurt. Once a laser liposuction procedure is done there is not typically a need for any medicine. A final benefit is that when a laser liposuction is performed the removed fat can be redeposited into a desirable place in the person’s body. This too involves little pain or little recovery time and provides a doubly pleasing outcome.

Thanks for joining the Liposuction Fort Wort Guide in our discussion of liposuction with Laser technology! We hope we have been of service.

Liposuction: for Men also.

Today at the Liposuction Fort Worth Guide we discuss the controversial topic of male liposuction, and its growing popularity .

Liposuction is so popular and well known; it’s even in pop songs and in the content of late night talk shows as well. But, while accepted for women for many years now the area that is growing in awareness and the number of procedures, is liposuction for men. While we get busier and busier climbing the corporate ladder or building our own business, taking time out to exercise gets harder and harder. Liposuction for men is an effective and efficient use of time, removing 6-7 liters of fate in one quick session-no surgery, no stapling no downtown or pre-surgery prep time needed either. Interestingly, for men male liposuction to reduce breasts is on the rise as opposed to women who typically seek to breast enlargements. As men age, their breasts often enlarge due to accumulation of fat. Liposuction is a convenient and fast in and out procedure for men to take care of this without spending too much time preparing or recovering. Also, the return of fat in this area is rare. That is attractive to busy men, too. Knowing this doesn’t have to be repeated or maintained, makes the decision to get liposuction for men, all the easier. While men are becoming aware of liposuction procedures and warming up to the idea more, as evident by the increasing numbers of men undertaking liposuction procedures, what is important according to the Liposuction Fort Worth Guide is to take it one step further; not to wait until you contemplate it for several years as you become more and more accustomed to the idea and more accepting of the idea, but to get it done at the onset of the problem. Research shows that the procedure is most effective if done between the ages of 30-35-don’t wait to make that decision after 40. We often know in our 30’s that we need to get rid of those extra bulges and rolls to stay in shape, stay competitive, stay fit and look good, but often we are too busy to deal with it until it is much worse and we are “forced” to do so. Much better, and with the knowledge that the fat in this area rarely returns, go in for liposuction at the first signs of the fat accumulating, don’t get used to it, but take care of it. Indeed, it isn’t just for the physical appearances. Liposuction inevitably carries with it certain health benefits as well, for we are all too familiar now with the health risks associated with obesity from liver diseases, heart diseases, diabetes, and more. Take care of your looks as well as your health with liposuction.

We at the Liposuction Fort Worth Guide hope that this post has assuaged some mens’ reasonable fears about the procedure.
